Premier Basement Systems is more than just your local waterproofing contractor. We are proud members of The Basement Systems® International Network, which comprises over 300 elite basement waterproofing and crawl space repair contractor companies throughout the United States and Canada. With a history dating back to 1987, the network is headquartered in a 92,000 square foot facility located in Seymour, Connecticut.
Basement Systems® dealers are independently owned and operated local contractors who collaborate with other dealers across the network to exchange their expertise, practices, and product knowledge. Despite their independence, all Basement Systems dealers share a common objective: to offer customers the most efficient and proven methods to waterproof basements and ensure they remain dry at all times!
The story of Basement Systems begins with its founder, Larry Janesky. In 1983, Larry placed an advertisement in the local newspaper offering carpentry services, stating, "Carpentry. No job too small. Call Larry."
As calls started coming in, he established his own homebuilding and remodeling company. It was during this time that Larry recognized the need for basement waterproofing after encountering a house he built with a cracked foundation wall leaking water into the basement.
After conducting research, Larry concluded that there had to be a more effective method for waterproofing homes than the existing technology. Consequently, Connecticut Basement Systems, Inc. was established in 1987, followed by Basement Systems, Inc. and product development in 1990.

Throughout the years, Basement Systems® has been honored with over 40 awards for quality and innovation by the Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership. Basement Systems® founder Larry Janesky has played an active role in the BBB, serving on the Board of Directors. Additionally, Larry served as the Master of Ceremonies for the BBB awards ceremonies for three years.

About Our Continuous Training & Annual Convention
Basement Systems® is committed to providing ongoing training and workshops for our dealers, available throughout the year at our international headquarters in Seymour, CT. These sessions cover a wide range of topics, including installation techniques, service protocols, and office management skills.
Every year, Basement Systems® hosts an annual convention that draws hundreds of contractors to our headquarters for a range of activities. Attendees have the opportunity to participate in training sessions, network with industry peers, attend an awards ceremony, and engage in various events.
