Tailored Drainage Solutions for Thick or Monolithic Concrete Floors
How It works
One of the prevalent challenges our specialists encounter regularly involves homes featuring monolithic floors.
Typically, foundations consist of three separate elements—the floor, the walls, and the foundation footing. However, with monolithic floors, there are only two components, as the floor and footing are poured together as a single unit.
Consequently, the perimeters of these floors exhibit significant thickness, and the process of jackhammering them is labor-intensive and generates a substantial amount of dust.
Tailor-Made Drain Pipe System Designs

Addressing Leaks from Windows, Cracks, and Penetrations
Water infiltration into a basement can occur through various points along the walls. At Premier Basement Systems, we provide the following solutions:
- For leaking wall cracks and gaps around pipes or wires, we employ the FlexiSpan® System.
- If you experience leaks around a basement window, our recommendation is our WellDuct® System.
- In cases where walls are leaking in multiple locations, we utilize our wall products for comprehensive coverage.
Several of our wall products also serve as both aesthetic and insulating upgrades. Each of our wall drainage systems seamlessly integrates with your DryTrak® Drain Pipe System, ensuring that water seeping from your walls is efficiently directed to your sump pump system.
The DryTrak® System also presents an excellent solution for abnormally thick concrete slab floors. Similar to monolithic floors, the extensive work and dust associated with jackhammering are minimized.
Draining Accumulated Water in Block Walls
For homes with a block wall foundation, a secondary challenge arises. The open cavities within each block are prone to water accumulation, leading to seepage through the walls.
We address this water source by strategically drilling a “weep hole” in each block. This allows the water to flow through these openings and directly into the drain pipe.
The drain pipe is securely epoxied directly to the floor, creating a slight opening along the top to capture water seeping in from the walls. This ensures effective waterproofing for your home without the need for jackhammering!
